Delaware holds the distinction of being the only state anywhere along the Eastern seaboard to be in the top 10.” Employment in Delaware increased by more than 60,000 during the same time period, best in the region and one of the best in the country. In 2010, Delaware won first place in Pres. Obama’s “Race to the Top” competition.
