Translating into Colors: Van Gogh’s Copies after Millet

Van Gogh Museum curator Nienke Bakker will explore Van Gogh’s copies after the French artist Jean-François Millet, one of which is now on loan to the Harvard Art Museums. Following the lecture, the gallery where Van Gogh’s Snow-Covered Field with a Harrow is on display, alongside a pastel of this same subject by Millet, will remain open until 8:00pm.

Free admission. Tickets will be distributed beginning at 5:30pm at the Broadway entrance. One ticket per person. The lecture will take place in Menschel Hall, Lower Level. Please enter the museums via the entrance on Broadway. Doors will open at 5:30pm.
