Claudia Rankine is an American poet, chancellor of the Academy of American Poets, and the Frederick Iseman Professor of Poetry at Yale University. In this talk, Rankine will read from her award-winning book, Citizen: An American Lyric and discuss how racial imaginaries assert themselves in the history of American poetry.
