In this experiential workshop, we’ll explore:
- Why personal growth experiences don’t have enduring value for many people
- The necessary two steps of lasting change in the nervous system
- Growing the key psychological resources matched to a person’s challenges
- Managing stressors without feeling stressed
- Bringing together kindness and assertiveness, love and power
- Living with inner balance in shaky times
This experiential workshop, led by Rick Hanson, Ph.D., will offer lots of practical methods useful for both self-guided practice and in therapeutic settings. There will be time for questions and discussion. No background with meditation or neuroscience is needed.
