Kristin Van Busum is a Public Speaking Coach/Founder of SpeakHero Coaching and the CEO/Founder of Project Alianza, an education nonprofit for children living in remote communities in Central America. Under her leadership, Project Alianza has helped educate over 10,000 children who would otherwise be out of school, and in 2018, the organization was selected as one of the top 1% of world-changing ideas in the MassChallenge Accelerator. As a keynote speaker, her talks have been described as brave, sincere, and fiercely engaging. Kristin has coached executives, politicians, and thought leaders with clients ranging from the City of Boston to Microsoft to Bank of America and has been a guest lecturer on entrepreneurship at Brown, Purdue, and New York University. Kristin is a TEDx speaker, a Fulbright Scholar, Fellow at the Aspen Institute, and has been featured in the Boston Globe, and on CBS, NBC, and Comcast Newsmakers.
