Repeats every week every Wednesday until Wed Oct 14 2020

Location:

Online Event

Join 2019-20 Artist in Residence Ruth Easterbrook as she guides students to focus on the foundation of all pots by breaking down form into its basic shapes. Students will use paper, scissors, and sketchbooks to then move towards working with clay. We will use paper to consider surface decoration, and forms built with templates as we advance with our form discovery. Clay will be an optional material and clay-based demonstrations will be included as a visual complement to class projects.

With your registration, you will receive access to a Harvard Google Classroom which will feature recordings of each class. In the case you miss a class or would like to review, these recordings will be available for 30 days after the end of the course.

Cost: Free for Harvard College Undergraduate Students, $300 for Harvard Graduate Students, Harvard Employees and Adult Community.
