Drawing History and the Image as Memory

Peruvian-born artist Fernando Bryce will discuss his artistic practice...including his multipart work The Book of Needs (on view through May 6), which explores issues of immigration, refugeeism, cultural difference, racism, indigeneity, and more through the re-creation of 1950s articles from the journal Courier, published by UNESCO. 

Free admission. Tickets will be distributed beginning at 5:30pm at the Broadway entrance. One ticket per person. The lecture will take place in Menschel Hall, Lower Level. Please enter the museums via the entrance on Broadway. Doors will open at 5:30pm.
