The Ceramics Program, Office for the Arts at Harvard presents a series of lectures by 2021-22 Artists In Residence.
Deighton Abrams is a ceramic sculptor and educator. He completed his MFA in Studio Ceramics at Clemson University and his undergraduate studies at Armstrong University in Savannah, Georgia. He was raised primarily in Alaska but has lived an equal amount of time in Georgia, Texas, and South Carolina. He has shown work both nationally and internationally. He has also completed a Residency at STARworks Center for Creative Enterprise in Star, North Carolina and conducted a co-lecture, Seeking Ethical Craft, at the 2018 National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts.
