A newly commissioned video installation in the museums’ Lightbox Gallery (Level 5), A.K. Burns, Survivor’s Remorse, looks specifically at the life and art of David Wojnarowicz, one of the artists featured in the museums’ Analog Culture exhibition. Burns (American, b. 1975) is a New York-based interdisciplinary artist whose work explores the body as a contentious domain wherein socio-political conditions are negotiated.
