Summer Chen recently completed a month-long residency program in Jingdezhen, the world’s porcelain capital, where she re-examined her culture through the eyes of a ceramic artist. During her talk, Summer will present images and videos of ceramic factories she visited, discuss the process of making work in Jingdezhen, talk about the work she made while she was there and share detailed information about all the residency opportunities in town.
