    Makoto Shinkai's remarkable feature film debut is set in a futuristic Japan on the verge of war. Takuya, a physicist, is drawn into a complex world of dreams, revolutionary fronts, government conspiracies and multiple realities. After many years, he reunites with his high school pal in their shared grief over their missing friend Sayuri, upon whose mysterious fate the whole world may depend.

    Harvard Men's Hockey competes against St. Lawrence for a weekend at Bright-Landry Hockey Center in a best of 3 series.

    Game 1 and 2 will be played at 7:00pm, and Game 3 will be played Sunday, March 8 at 4pm if necessary.

    Harvard/Yale Battle of the Big Bands

    Join Scullers Jazz Club for the Third Annual "Battle of the Big Bands" with the Harvard and Yale Jazz Orchestras with Special Guests, Saxophonists Wayne Escoffery and Yosvani Terry!

    Harvard's Jazz Band has performed worldwide, including 2017 performances in Cuba, and past concerts have included tributes to Herbie Hancock, Benny Golson, and many other important jazz artists. Performers in these concerts have included Terri Lyne Carrington, Lionel Loueke, Harold Mabern, George Coleman, Don Braden, and more.

    Grafting Woody Plants: Fruit Trees

    5:00pm to 7:30pm

    Dana Greenhouse Classroom, Arnold Arboretum, 125 Arborway, Boston

    Grafting is the technique of joining parts of separate plants in such a manner that they unite and continue their growth as one. Learn basic principles of grafting with an overview of different types of dormant-season grafts. Arnold Arboretum propagator Sean Halloran will provide step-by-step instructions so that you can practice both cleft and side veneer grafts using apple root stock. Simple after-care will be required until planting out in springtime. Registrants will need to sign an Assumption of Risk and Release in order to participate in this class.

Drawing from the Harvard Film Archive collection and beyond, this series of classic and contemporary films are screened in their original formats and languages.

    All Weekend Matinee screenings are admission-free for holders of a valid Cambridge Public Library card!

    Harvard Women’s Ice Hockey vs St. Lawrence – LIGHT THE BRIGHT

    Bright-Landry Hockey Center 65 N Harvard St, Allston

    Women’s Hockey takes on St. Lawrence at 3pm at Bright-Landry Hockey Center. Game will be streamed on ESPN+. Fans will receive a Styrofoam LED stick. There will be free giveaways, contests, sign making, and much more!

    This game will cover Graduate Student Day, Faculty/ Staff Day, Community Day, and Post-Game autographs.

    Chuck-A-Puck will be sponsored by the Harvard University Employees Credit Union.

    Wildly popular in Japan, Tetsuya Mariko’s breakthrough feature tells the story of a young man drawn mysteriously into a spiral of unrelenting violence.
