Join us at the Science Center Plaza for seasonal games including curling, ice bowling, and ice shuffleboard or year-round favorites including ping-pong, illuminated cornhole, or giant chess!

    Hot drinks will be available in our WinterFest trailer on select days, free of purchase while supplies last! Keep an eye out for our Chill & Thrill Thursdays events for weekly fun for everyone!

    Narcan Training with the Cambridge Public Health Department and Somerville Health and Human Services

    In conjunction with our special exhibition Objects of Addiction: Opium, Empire, and the Chinese Art Trade, and with an abundance of care for our community, the Harvard Art Museums are hosting a one-hour on-site Narcan training, facilitated by the Cambridge Public Health Department and Somerville Health and Human Services.     Meandering Meditation: An Introduction to Mindfulness in Nature

    Tour: Frederick Law Olmsted and the Arnold Arboretum

    Frederick Law Olmsted, considered the father of landscape architecture, designed some 500 public spaces in North America. The Arnold Arboretum, the only arboretum he designed, is a National Historic Landmark and a model for others around the world. Arboretum docent, Bill Beizer, will identify the elements of the Arnold Arboretum that best reflect Olmsted's philosophy and approach to landscape design.

    Initiation – In Love Solidarity is a choreographic narrative exploring the embodiment of the Middle Passage, and the resilience and evolving identities of women in the African diaspora. A film component of the work was created at historic sites in New England related to the transatlantic slave trade and emancipation.
