The Harvard Information Center serves as the “front door” to the University by providing free tours and historical information about the campus to visitors, neighbors, and the public.

The office is located in the Smith Campus Center Arcade at 1350 Massachusetts Ave. in the heart of Harvard Square in Cambridge. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Highlighted Programs

Harvard University offers learning activities, events, and programs to our friends and neighbors in Allston-Brighton, Boston, and Cambridge on our campuses and in your communities.

ARTS FIRST, a four-day arts festival held each spring, features more than 225 music, theater, dance, film, and visual arts events, most free of charge and open to the public.
The HMNH hosts monthly family programs, works in partnership with local schools and educators, and hosts public lectures and events.
The Office for Sustainability oversees implementation of Harvard’s sustainability goals and convenes the community to share best practices and develop new programs and policies.
The i-lab fosters team-based, entrepreneurial activities and deepens interactions among students, faculty, entrepreneurs, and the Allston and Greater Boston communities.
An educational program for local 7th-graders with the goal of providing early, on-campus experiences to local students to help raise their educational aspirations. Program include visits with undergraduates and classroom tours.
