Harvard Ed Portal
The Harvard Ed Portal is a vibrant space that fosters learning and exploration for Allston-Brighton residents of all ages. The Ed Portal is a collaborative partnership between Harvard University, the City of Boston, the Harvard Allston Task Force, and the Allston-Brighton community. It was created in 2008 to bring Harvard’s greatest strength, world class teaching and research, to the Allston-Brighton community. The Ed Portal is the Allston-Brighton community’s front door to Harvard’s educational, cultural, arts, and recreational resources. More than a physical space, the Ed Portal is a strong link between the Harvard community and Allston-Brighton community.
Robert A. Lue, Harvard University Professor of the Practice of Molecular and Cellular Biology; Faculty Director of HarvardX; is the Faculty Director of the Education Portal, leading the development of the Ed Portal’s academic curriculum and programs with Harvard College and other schools and programs across the University.
