Welcome! Harvard’s 25th annual Daffodil Day is Monday, March 19, 2012.

In 1988 Daffodil Day at Harvard was initiated by Rita Corkery, Associate Director for Community Relations, who is a breast cancer survivor. Administered out of Public Affairs & Communications, Daffodil Day utilizes Harvard resources to sell bouquets of yellow daffodils and related products in the month of February all over the University. More than 100 coordinators in departments and schools spread the word among their colleagues to join in the fight against cancer.

The last day to place an order is Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Flowers and other products will be delivered on Monday, March 19, 2012 by University Mail Services.

All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society to help fund research, programs and services, and all of the money raised is a direct result of the charitable giving of our faculty, students and staff. We hope to continue the successful campaign for many years to come!

The following items can be ordered through your department coordinator through the end of February 2012:

• Fresh bouquets of 10 daffodils for $10.
• Bear and a Bunch includes Shar N. Hope, the 10-inch collectible 2010 Boyd’s bear with a daffodil bouquet for a donation of $25.
• Potted daffodil bulbs have three multi-stem bulbs in each pot for $15.
• Gifts of Hope provide daffodil bouquets anonymously to cancer patients in your community. Donations start at $25.
• Bear Hugs for Hope provide Daffodil Days bears anonymously to children impacted by cancer. Donations start at $25.

How to Order: All orders must be placed through a department coordinator. Payment options include check, money order, or credit card. If your department doesn’t yet have a coordinator, please contact:
