Undergraduate student actors from the Harvard Story-Time Players perform "The Princes and the Witch" for an audience at the Education Portal on April 5.

Harvard University undergraduates and members of the Allston-Brighton community came together at the Harvard Allston Education Portal to experience an afternoon of musical story theater.  The Harvard Story-Time Players, an all-undergraduate student group that writes, directs, and performs an original theater piece each semester, performed their production of “The Princess and the Witch” for a family audience on Saturday, April 5.

The play told the story of a shy but courageous princess who saved her kingdom from an “evil” but misunderstood witch, and featured an important lesson about treating everyone fairly.  Families were able to enjoy an up-close view of the performance, and afterwards enjoyed a meet-and-greet with the student actors.

The Education Portal was pleased to host the Story-Time Players, as part of its commitment to bring Harvard arts and cultural programming from across the University to the community.
