Harvard, Cambridge, MIT host BIO 2012 at Broad Institute

Harvard University, in conjunction with the City of Cambridge and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, recently hosted Cambridge BIO 2012 at the Broad Institute text after link. The reception came together to celebrate science, biotechnology, and innovation in Cambridge.

Welcoming remarks and greetings were offered by Cambridge Mayor Henrietta Davis, Cambridge City Manager Robert Healy, and Chief Scientific Officer Director of the Cancer Program at the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT, Todd Golub, MD. Short presentations were offered by Elisabet de los Pinos, Ph. D., Founder & CEO of Aura Biosciences, David Lucchino, Co-Founder & CEO of Semprus BioSciences, David Scadden, Co-Director of the Harvard Stem Cell Institute, and David Altshuler, MD, PhD, Deputy Director and Chief Academic Officer of the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT.
